The Village of Peoples was born in 1990 with the aim of promoting fair trade, ethical finance, and address the issues of economic injustice, of human and environmental exploitation, the violation of human rights through the organization of meetings, the promotion of awareness-raising campaigns and other initiatives on the territory.

Our primary interest is directed to human development in its many dimensions. The fair trade, ethical finance, critical consumption and the continuous attention to the socio-economic context in which we are immersed are the instruments on which we focus, however, bearing in mind that these are only some of the possible tools.

We believe that the most effective way to address the serious problems that surround us is to operate consistently in the given field, and put in a network with those working in other fields and shares with us the desire for a more just world, and thus more beautiful.
