Who we areThe Cooperative Dairy Val di Vara was founded in 1978 by the joint effort of the farmers of the Val di Vara.Testimony showed commitment is our logo: a snail symbolizes the hardships and perseverance with which the first forms were produced.The Cooperative Dairy succeeds today to implement the dream of those who had made up: collect and turn on the spot, in its own dairy farm, all the milk produced by the members, thus enhancing activity otherwise destined to disappear.To do this we have recovered the old recipes of cheese in our valley and we have integrated with modern food technology, in order to ensure the highest quality along with the authenticity of the past.We do not make any use of preservatives or chemical dyes and use only milk from pastures of the Apennines.A large number of our members farmers today adopted organic farming methods, more respectful of animal welfare and ecosystems of nature.Our milk and our cheeses are well received, first in Liguria, a further recognition of the quality: organic certification.Proud to support agriculture of our campaigns, we invite you to taste our products, you will find the best shops in Liguria or directly in Varese Ligure in the dairy shop.
