Una Rete di Economia Solidale (RES) ha come finalità la realizzazione di un sistema economico e sociale, non violento e solidale, orientato all'ecologia ed al bene comune, costruito dal basso, che valorizza le relazioni prima che il capitale, che riconosce una equa ripartizione delle risorse fra tutti, che dà priorità al rispetto dell'ambiente naturale e della comunità sociale.
